Since I've been doing regular S&D missions lately, I've noticed that I have a lot of fine hairs. They're so fine that they're nearly invisible next to my medium and course hairs, and I've actually noticed that they're about as thick as a split split on one of my course hairs! This explains why I've never noticed them before. However, I've been taking random samplings of hair from different areas of my head and I've noticed that while most of my hair is M, I have about twice as many fine hairs for every course hair that I do find. Visually however my hair appears to be M/C.
Like F type hair, I cannot use any sort of leave in (except perhaps aloe) without looking like I dunked my head in a bucket of oil. I'm also prone to flyaways and wavies and I get tangles easily and my hair also snaps easily (these hairs have the most splits). My hair tends to slip out of every clip, hairtie, pin, or hairstick known to humankind.
But like M/C hair, it can take a lot of abuse before showing damage (I wear my hair down 90% of the time and it is constantly rubbing against my backpack and rough textured seats). My hair is also very prickly and will make crunchy noises when rubbed against each other. In addition, two of the most annoying things is the weight of the hair and how it takes forever for the hair closest to the scalp to dry.
So what should I use as my hair type? My hair seems to share characteristics of all three hair types. Why isn't there a F/M/C option available?
