Anyone have any luck finding a shampoo for thin fine hair that's dry too?? I am so tired of shampooing and & then conditioning all the time...or using my jojoba oil and monoi or anything else to get some luster and moisture into my hair, ends especially. Could it be my vinegar rinse that's drying my ends?? All the volumizing shampoos I've tryed seem to dry my hair out!! And I shampoo only once...but I shampoo every other day...any suggestions wouldbe most appreciated!!

Hi Tym! :)
I find "volumizing" shampoos to be too drying for my hair usually. You could try the Kenra Volumizing shampoo and conditioner.
Too much vinegar could dry your length. Maybe try skipping that for awhile. Also, some oils can produce crunchy ends if used excessively.
I would suggest trying the Kenra S & C, and skip the vinegar and oils for awhile to see what happens.

I've heard Mastey has got a good volumizing shampoo..I haven't tried it myself but I use their products for dry hair and like them. They are supposed to be very geantle because they don't contain any sls . Maybe your vineagar rinses are too strong or your hair doesn't like oils?

Hi Tym,
I don' tknow if your hair is like mine or not, but my hiar has the most volume when I dont' use volumizing shampoos. Anything that stays in my hair leaves it limp/flat to some degree. I get the most "fluff" from just washing/conditioning my hair.
I use the GM shampoo, conditioner and cream rinse exclusively. Before GM I used to have the best luck of fluffy hair using Suave or White Rain regular shampoo, but it was on the drying side so I didn't like to use it very oftern. I only used it when I wanted my hair to look its best. Now with GM my hair looks its best each time I wash (and inbetween too).
GM shampoo seems expensive compared to grocery store prices, but I bought my first set last July. My long-thickhaired daughter and I have used exclusively ever since and now a year later I just ordered another shampoo. I haven't used it yet since there is a few more shampoos left in the first bottle. And I am only half way through with my 12 minute conditioner, 3/4 of the way through my cream rinse and 1 minute conditioner. I do only wash 1-2x per week and my daughter washes 2-3x per week.
