Since the boards returned after the recent downtime, I have been unable to reply to a thread in Firefox if I preview a post and then try to post directly from the resulting page. In that case, I get an "Invalid Thread Specified" error. In order to successfully post, I have to press Back to return to the original reply page.

I'm using Beta 1 on OS X (Build 2005090806). I never had any problems posting from a preview until the boards went back up. I have not added or removed any extensions or (to the best of my knowledge) changed any LHC-related cookie permissions in that time.

Well... I have to say I'm stumped. I'm no expert to begin with, but I have no idea what to tell you.

Do you have the same problem if you use another browser? If not, at least we'll know whether it's an overall problem or one related to Firefox.

I just did some more tests in the test forum. I previewed and posted with no trouble in Safari 1.3.1, and then I figured out what the Firefox problem had been. It turns out that I had been clicking the post button before the preview page finished loading, so whatever sets the thread number hadn't fired off yet. I'm not sure why I never ran into that before (have I become more impatient lately? :silly:), but I have noticed intermittent problems with the connection to the site suddenly dropping, so that may occasionally have to do with it. Earlier tonight, I made a post and the next page abruptly stopped loading. I've also clicked on threads and immediately gotten a completely blank page without a timeout error or anything similar. I doubt that this is a problem with my Internet connection because I haven't see it at any of the other sites I regularly visit.
