I'm going on a looooooong car trip because we're moving. It's about a 14 hr drive. Wednesday morning we're leaving at 4 am, so, I don't think I will have anything better to do than read the map and braid little braids throughout my hair :)
Is it harmful? Will I get splits and/or breakage?
If it's damaging maybe I'll try a crown braid instead, or practice french braiding without my EasyBraid ;)
Any other suggestions?

I dont think the braids will be harmful as long as you dont make them to tight-pulling on the scalp and stretching the hair.

that's always a fun thing to do...like katrine said..don't do them too tight..but snug....and careful what you secure the ends with... no rubberbands.

Oh, no....I would never use rubberbands! I have some small, clear elastics from goody, I think they're called Ouchless, they are like the elastics I used to use for my braces.
I should have enough, hopefully.

I agree. Braids should be fine.
