Well, I really wanted to find out who my SHT was, but couldnt...until I read a thread started by her and had a light moment when seeing the state she came from, but that wasn´t until only two weeks before. So...my SHT was Icydove :flowers:

This will be a great way to narrow it down for some of you guessing.

My guess is based on silly coincidence. The day that I received something from my SHT, Naomimcc posted about having a BC meet. I added those together along with Naomimcc's straight hair, and voila.

Do you KNOW how hard it was not to talk about that hair stick organizer?! :lol: I made one for myself, too, and it was killing me not to talk about it. (Yours gave me a lot of trouble, though, 'cause the fabric is much more slippery than the cotton I used for my own. So sorry the seams are wonky & not straight! :wink:)

Thanks, Butters. Other than a few PM's, I haven't received anything else from my SHT (no 'snail mail' packages or cards). I did contact IcyDove at the end of July when she asked us to if we hadn't received something by that point. I did a little sleuthing earlier this evening (coudn't help myself) and I 'think' I know who my SHT is at this point, but I don't want to name anyone right now. If I'm correct, I'm going to chalk things up to age. I hate to do that b/c I know that there are a lot of responsible teens on the site, but I think access/jobs/transportation probably factors into things.

I mostly figured it out from the London bombing thread after someone said she hadn't checked in yet. All the other Brits I could think of didn't match with the description she gave me :smile:

I love that the earlier packages was all generic stuff (I mean, things you could find all over the world, not boring stuff!) I was starting to suspect this. I had a list of all the participants that I had been whittling down as people figured theirs out. I had also noted people that had similar hairtypes to my own (since I know they were assigned somewhat based on hairtypes). The list is still long enough, but I was starting to suspect that it might be Euphrasyne.

Wow, she's the best. Thinking about me in this time of confusion and uncertainty. I have the most considerate SHT ever! What a sweetheart.

I do crochet and did make that ribbon. The panda hairsticks were handmade by Sophie and Lucy from whom I purchased. I don't want to take credit for Goldlady's wonderful work!
