I seem many members have pictures included in their posts. How is that done? I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks!

To include a photo, you need to have the web address (URL) for the photo itself. (It can't just be stored on your computer, it has to be online somewhere. There are free sites like ImageShack (http://www.imageshack.us/) that allow you to upload pictures. They even tell you the addresses in several formats to make it easier.)

Then, once you've got the address, you click on the "photo" button above the box where you type. It's a little yellow button that looks like it has a mountain in it. It will ask you to type in the address, then you click "OK" and you're done. (You can also do this manually, but typing [ img]link[ /img] instead of using the button. Just make sure you *don't* have spaces inside the [].)

[ IMG]http://img400.imageshack.us/img400/271/tsa7xn.jpg[ /IMG]

only that you need to remove the spaces between the [ and the IMG and /IMG

The result should look like this:

I am also having problems with my photos. Please help me. I tried to follow the instructions in the FAQ section on photos but I am missing something. I set up my Photobucket account and uploaded two pictures. There are three lines under my Photobucket photos...url, tag and img. When I select the img line with the http//… information and try to insert that into my thread, nothing happens. I get no picture. When I go to the top of the list and use the url line, the photo comes up in my thread. When I entered the thread into the forum and called it back up, one of the pictures was blank with red x. I made another test message to try to solve the problem. I entered the test message and went back to the original thread. Now both pictures were blank with a red x. Should I be manually typing the [IMG] and inserting the photo in between the two brackets? Or am I doing something wrong when I try to insert the information in the img line directly into my thread. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
