Tried to submit a thread and ended up getting this. Help?

That's called flood control. It prevents people from posting a bunch of posts in a hurry.
What you need to do is make sure you don't post 2 posts back to back without waiting for 30 seconds or so..

Close, but not quite - that one has a different error message. It means that the server took longer than 30 seconds to process your submission, so it gave up trying.

When that happens, I press the back button, copy the text I was trying to post, and try again. If it fails again, then I still have what I wrote & can paste it into a blank document to save it until the server isn't acting up.
