View Full Version : Having trouble pm'ing Jaynyne
Roses July 3rd, 2005, 04:15 AM Hi, last week I sent a pm to Jaynyne. It appears that it was sent by the looks of my sent box. However, I haven't heard back from Jaynyne, which is unusual, so I did a little research into it. Oddly, when I look up her username in the Members List it says that her last visit was in March of 2004. I know that isn't true because she's been posting to her journal lately. Anyway, I thought it might be connected to her possibly not having received the pm I tried to send her. Any suggestions for me? Should I just try resending the pm? TIA :flower: (p.s. I decided to post here on the forum instead of pm'ing a moderator or Stephanie since I'm not sure if my pm's are going through.)
Jennifer July 3rd, 2005, 04:41 AM According to the member list March 2004, was Jaynyne's join date, not the last visit date. I'd imagine she will get back to you soon or you could resend if you'd like to be sure. :flower:
Roses July 3rd, 2005, 06:01 AM When I see the member's list, Jaynyne is listed as both having joined and having last visited March 2004. Which is the odd part. Other members have varying dates according to when they last visited versus when they joined, but not Jaynyne. I can take a screen shot of what I see on my screen if that would be helpful.
CurlyKitten July 3rd, 2005, 08:28 AM If you mark yourself as 'invisible' on the boards so no one can see when you're online, it will say that your last visited date is the same as your joined date  Jaynyne has probably set herself to invisible.
Snowymoon July 3rd, 2005, 08:33 AM I do know that she is busy with starting her own business right now, so I am sure it is just that she is busy with that. I am sure that she will respond as soon as she gets your message. :flower:

Thanks CK! :flower: I never thought of that. I guess because I can see the happenings of invisible members as well, it hadn't occured to me.
Roses July 3rd, 2005, 08:55 AM Ahh okay - mystery solved! Thanks so much for all your help. I've been away from the boards for a few months and had a few minor technical glitches when I logged in (on my end) and wasn't sure if that had something to do with it or if the forum/interface had changed somehow. Thanks again! :flower:
Jaynyne July 3rd, 2005, 09:48 AM Roses,
:waving:
I got your PM, and have it and a bunch of others to reply to. And my box in nearly full, too. Oops. I'm just on the boards for about 5 minutes at a time these days. Snowy is right--I'm very busy. But I'll get back to you soon :blushing: Sorry.
(And I only noticed this thread b/c I noticed my name in the recently posted thing-a-ma-jiggy.)
Roses July 3rd, 2005, 09:52 AM Hi Jaynyne, no worries! I'm glad there isn't any techincal problem - I have a knack for messing things up! Anyway, congrats on your new business!
