Hello from Prague!

Can you please help my girlfriend Adéla find a good shampoo for her here in Czech Rep... she hasn't found "The One" for her hair yet... Her hair is blonde, thick and fine - it looks quite similar to TLHS.org's Julie's, perhaps if it's a tiny bit shorter. She finds that pretty much anything she tried makes her hair very dry - therefore prone to damaging... the only exception being the Glisskur, but she doesn't totally love this one as it makes her hair heavy.

Also, do you know if it's possible to get a pure jojoba oil (what a miracle! yay!) here? We've brought some bottles from the US and I wonder if we have to keep getting it from there.

Thanks, díky, and enjoy the wonderful spring!

D+A :)

I don't know any Czech shampoo brands, but I know where you can get jojoba oil: The German herbal cosmetic internet store B&W ships stuff abroad. The URL is http://www.naturpflege.de, the oil is called jojoba gold. They have coconut oil also. I'll try and find you the exact link.

Sorry the link above is wrong. Here you go the hp:
https://www.naturpflege.de
If you want to find out how much they charge you for shipping stuff to your country, click on AGB and check out the green chart on the bottom of the page. The Czech Republic isn't mentioned, but I know they ship stuff there, so it should be in the box right of the EU box.
To check out the jojoba oil, click on Haarpflege, then click on Kuren-Spülungen and on the bottom of the page you'll find the jojoba gold. It's a very good quality oil, I tried it myself.

I checked, and it's true, your country is part of Rest-Europa. Hey Americans, they ship stuff to the USA and Canada also!!!

Oh, one more post: :D
Your friend seems to have hair similar to mine. She could try the Chamomile shampoo by Logona, available at naturpflege also.

Thanks a lot Kati!!! Getting jojoba from Germany will certainly be better. Also, thanks for the shampoo tip... I wonder whether we'll see it in our stores. What other shampoos have worked for you - perhaps "bigger" brands, i.e. something that has a chance to be imported to Czech Rep. as well?
Best wishes,
Dan

Well, I don't know which brands you have over there, but like Nivea, Schauma (Glem), Vivality and the Pantene for fine hair. The Pantene Repair and Care line is great, too!
