My son, the Dylan roadie, 8) brought me home a big bag of goodies the show's sponsors gave out backstage. Among them, Bed Head Moisturizing Maniac S&C and Bed Head Hair Stick, (not the kind we use, but a funky looking gluestick resembling thing).
A. Has anybody tried this S&C and is it any good?
and
B. What the fire engine heck is a hair(glue? gel? pomade?) stick and what do you do with it and why do they give them away?????? It looks like a big fat glue stick. May use it for that!!!!

My roommate uses this stuff to 'foof' up his hair at the front. It's sort of like a pomade...makes your hair defy gravity. Short hair, anyway.

I meant the hair stick! :D

I have no experience with the other products, but freebies are always fun!

I have never used their products, but the Tigi bedhead "chocolate head" deep conditioner is very tempting. Has anyone ever tryed that?

I have this conditioner, and yes it does smell like chocolate. I use it as a deep treatment, and it works well on my hair (dry and prone to frizz). There were some raves for this product on the naturallycurly.com board. Here's one of the threads about it:
Tigi Chocolate Head (http://bb.naturallycurly.com/cgi-ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=028112)

One poster stated this is not a protein treatment, but my bottle of Tigi Chocolate Head does have keratin amino acids listed in the ingredients.

Don't know about those products in particular, but I used to use the defrizzing conditioner (light/lime green, kinda a citrusy smell). I loved it, but it was sorta expensive to use all the time.

Cheers,

I have tried the TIGI Bed Head/ Moisture Maniac stuff, and didn't like it at all. I ended up throwing it away :-( What a waste of money. It dried my hair out so fast. This is before LHC, when I figured I'd try using a more expensive product in the hopes that my hair would be better off, instead of when I was using the cheaper stuff (drugstore). This stuff trashed my hair in less than a week. I had to cut off about 3 inches after a week of use. My :twocents:
