I just mix my regular conditioner (sometimes a mix of 2 or 3 different conditioners) with honey and leave it on my hair for about 15 minutes. Not sure if that counts as a 'deep' conditioning though.

I do Snowy's Deep Moisture Treatment about once a fortnight and at the moment I'm using Fudge Dynamite for that.

I use shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and almond oil. Slather it into dry hair, put on a shower cap, then a ski beanie and wear it overnite. While I'm falling asleep I cover my head witha heating pad for about an hour. Shampoo and vinegar rinse, condish in the AM. I do this every other week. As an alternate to the homemade natural oils I use either Burts Bees Avocado Butter hair treatment or Neutrogena Triple Moist. Deep Recovery Hair Masque or Redkens Smooth Down butter treat or L'Oreals Natures Therapy Mega Moisture and follow same routine as with natural stuff. If I am not doing it for overnight I'll use aloe gel, condish. and honey in equal parts.

I deep condition only when i notice that (after a shower when my hair drys) my hair is dry.

What i do is shower as normal. Then i leave a little (very little) conditioner in my hair (if any). Then put my hair up in a towel for 2 hours. When i bring it down it is the softest it ever gets. And its just as soft if i were to do some of the other methods described here. (as i have tried them over the years)

I could not tell you why this works but it does. Its also important to not ring your hair out ALL the way before you put it up you need it damp in order to get the towel wet for it to do its job.

I was told once that putting hair up in a towel will SUCK the oils out of your hair as it sucks the water out. BUT i guess that is not true in this case.

OH an my hair is naturally oily (this could make a big difference with this technique). If you have dry hair i would try other methods and more often.

I do one when needed. Sometimes a couple of times per week. SOmetimes not for 2 or 3 weeks. I vary my products--just because I have so many hair conditioners:razz:. Jessicurl DT, OJON Restorative Treatment, Jessicurl Too Shea, Curlybrunette's Shea It Ain't So.

How do i condition.... during the week (mon-sun) i let my hair load up on sebum. I also add a tiny bit of jojoba oil to my ends during the week (it's not noticeable). On washday i condition with a Suave conditioner. Sometimes i muck my hair up with oil the day before or the same day.

ETA: does this sound disturbing or even disgusting? nah... i get complements even when my hair is "dirty" about how nice the waves are. i hope you find what works for you!!

I try to deep condition once a week with Snowys Deep Treatment. I vary the conditioners I use in the mix. If I skip a week (like last week) my hair gets really dry on the ends.

I deep condition once a week or every two weeks depending on what my hair needs. I use a mixture of Shea Butter, Mango Butter and Coconut Oil, I put it on very heavy and leave it on overnight before shampooing out the next day, and I follow that with a vnegar herbal rinse then apply to dripping wet hair a mixture of aloe vera gel and jojoba oil. I oil my hair daily with various mixtures of jojoba oil, coconut oil, shea butter and mango butter.

I deep conditioner twice per month:

The first deep conditioner I use lots of EVOO and mashed ripe avocados and mix very well. I put it on my hair as a pre-poo with a plastic cap, for about two or more hours (or as long as possible) then I rinse it out with water and a very light conditioner only no shampoo. I do not use heat during the pre-poo process.

My other deep conditoner I use LeKair Cholesteral and sit uder the dryer for two hours (or as long as possible) and then rinse out with water.

Well I am still "tweeking" with my current regimen. I haven't found whats perfect for me yet but I am working on it. Currently, I have tons of different hair products so this is what I've decided on-I do SMT once a week. (Today being my first day to try it-I love it!) preceded by an ACV rinse. In the future I will probably alternate what I use because I have CurlyBrunette's SAIS, Aussie 3mm deeep, SMT, EVOO, Le Klair's aloe vera cholesterol, and tons more products. I also use oils everyday...

I'll slather on some EVOO when nobody's around and leave it for as long as I can, then wash out. When I wash it out, I use both Suave Milk&Honey conditioner and Infusium 23's deep conditioner to moisturize. Seems to help. But then, I also am still tweaking my routine.

I deep treat twice per week. I'm using up my big bottle of LANZA deep treatment. Once I'm done I'll probably experiment with other new deep treatments I"ve found. Like ICE CREAM Banana Mask.

I may even go back to Le Kair Cholesterol. I used to love that one! LANZA is definately a keeper. Wella Kolestral used to be awesome too. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Time to head out shopping again!

I deep condition when I feel my hair needs it. Once a month at the most, usually more infrequent than that. Either GM 12-minute conditioner or Nexxus Keraphix.

I'm using Fia's henna glossing with Suave Naturals Aloe Vera conditioner as the base, so I guess I deep condition once a week when I cover my roots.

My hair is pretty damaged, so I usually try to deep condition twice per week - once a week minimum.

First treatment (weekend or late in week): shampoo, rinse, towel-blot, apply Sally's generic of Joico K-pak and leave it in for about 30 minutes, rinse, then follow with a rinse-out detangler (L'anza dry hair detangler for now).

Second treatment (midweek): shampoo, rinse, towel-blot, apply L'anza dry hair moisture treatment, leave it in for about 15 minutes, rinse, then use a rinse-out detangler.

On the other days I CWC.

Almost never. I get enough conditioning from my everyday conditioners.

Once a week I do a pre-wash oiling with shea butter, and I use a lotus powder rinse while finishing showerly duties.

Every once in a while it's fun to do a heat cap deep treatment, and I like Phytomoelle for that.

A Snowy's Deep Moisture Treatment whenever I can get to it. But ideally would be once a week.

I've never deep conditioned (though I'll probably try one of these days), but I do leave my normal conditioner in my hair under a shower cap while I wash the rest of my body every time I shower - it's normally up for 5-10 minutes, even though the bottles don't say to leave it in for any amount of time.

That may do mini-deep conditions by itself, no idea.
