I've never seen this conditioner before, but I found an ingredient list on another site:

I also found this information on camellia oil:

Camellia oil is very high in oleic acid and has been used in Japan for centuries to moisturize and condition the skin, hair and nails. It is highly recommended for use in creams for dry, damaged skin, hair conditioners and scalp treatments, eye creams, after sun skin care products and can be used in any proportion. It is similar in color and viscosity to jojoba, penetrates quickly and can be used undiluted on the skin, hair and nails. It is an exceptional oil for toiletries and soaps and can be used as a carrier oil for aromatherapy treatments.

Yes! I use camellia oil, which I bought here at the Japanese department store. It's about $9 for a 16-oz. bottle of the pure stuff. They also carry shampoos and conditioners made with camellia oil.

I gave it a try because one of my Japanese friends mentioned it's what has been used in Japan for centuries. It's my FAVORITE oil so far. VERY light, not greasy, great results.

Also... knowing that traditionally it was used not only on hair but on wooden hair implements as well, I use it to oil my wooden hairsticks once in a while. Very nice results for that, too!

I highly recommend it. :D

I believe Aubrey Organics has a pure Camellia oil in a little roller ball container. I've never used it, but wouldn't mind! Just a little tidbit to further tempt you.
