Well - it's now almost four weeks since I used the gelled version of henna and it's still in with no visible difference from the results I usually get from a regular henna. A little fading as is usual with henna over time, but it hasn't disappeared and it's looking good.

Definitely a keeper for me as it was so much easier to handle than the regular henna application.

It sound good but also sounds like so much more prep work then the green goop. I wonder if I could handle all that.
I have gotten pretty good now at applying the green stuff with little or no mess.
Do you know if there is any way that you could make the gel and keep it for a while. I know that if you mix up body grade henna to make tattoos you can freeze it.

Maybe ask Britta of www.xxl-haar.de (she's the one that invented/spread the word about that gel method).
