Can you develop bursitis in the nuckles?

For the past week or so I've had mild swelling over my middle nuckle, mild pain in my middle finger when I grip something or make a fist. The pain is more concentrated over my middle nuckle.

Are there bursa sacs in the nuckles?

I haven't injured my hand so I'm thinking it's because of typing ;) I do a lot of typing besides here :D for our business, but I just think it's odd, I've never had any problems before and get this...it doesn't bother me when I type, so maybe it's somthing else?

I think that there must be:

"Bursitis simply put is the inflammation of a bursa. Every person has hundreds of bursae scattered throughout the body. The function of a bursa is to decrease friction between two surfaces that move in different directions. Therefore, you tend to find bursae at points where muscles, ligaments, and tendons glide over bones. "

Thanks, yes I've had it in my ankle before from running long distance. It's not getting any worse, so I'm just icing it.
