Hi! Welcome to our boards! :)
So... do you want to put the photo in your signature, or just post it in one isolated message?
If you want to put it in your signature, you go to the "Profile" section (up at the top under "The Long Hair Community" banner), then add a link in the signature sectionto wherever you've got your picture stored. This means that you need to have your photo online somewhere -- whether in your own homepage, if you've got one, or at an online image hosting site (such as Photo Island). Posting a picture is really just including a link to where the picture is -- then it appears as a photo on these boards.
Is that helpful?

There is a maximum of 250 letters (or is it 255?) in your signature. Are you sure you're not exceeding that?

There's a test forum down below all the other forums where you can try out your pictures. The good thing about using that forum is that you can edit your posts so that you can do it over and over and over again until you get it right.
As for the picture itself, it has to be small. I've forgotten the pixel size, but it's around 70-80 square. Yep, that small. If you have a graphics program, you can resize it easy. If not, yell for help and one of us will help ya further.
And welcome to the boards!
