Tresses - was recommended to try your conditioner concoction, and have a few questions for you.
- Do I wet my hair before applying it?
- You said to... "Apply it to your hair from the ears down, cover your head with a shower or conditioning cap and then with a warm towel. Leave your head wrapped for at least 30 minutes".

Am I putting all the hair up into the shower cap? The conditioned hair too, I assume?

Thanks,

Rachel

ooooOOOOoooo! I've been recommended! :D

Rachel, I apply this to dry hair. If I remember correctly, your hair is as long if not longer than mine so you will definitely want to add more oil to the recipe. You could try it on wet hair, in which case you probably wouldn't need the extra oil. I've just always started with dry hair.

All of the hair goes under the shower cap. If you have a heatcap I would still recommend using a warm towel. I once tried it with my heatcap on low (well, sort of low - it's microwavable, so I tried not to heat it up too much) and I ended up with cooked egg in my hair!

My kids always get a kick out of me using this. "Are you going to put that in your hair? BLECH!!!!" :D :D Have fun and let me know how it works for you!
