Ok hair wealth of knowledges out there
I was finally able to get some jojoba oil
over the new and now that I have it,
what are some things that I can do with it?

I do remember someone saying to put some
drops in the conditioner when I use it, or to
put some drops in ACV when I do that...
any more suggestions???

This is my first time using jojoba, so I'm a newbie!

What I do is put my hand over the open bottle and turn it over and back upright leaving a small bit of oil on my hand. Rub them together and then spread it on the bottoms of my hair.

Then I brush my hair and it spreads a bit throughout my hair.

I'm a beginner too, that's all I've done. I stopped doing it because I wanted to use only GM products for a while.

Put a little into a spritzer bottle with some water and maybe something to make it smell pretty, shake it up, and use it to mist your hair lightly whenever it feels a little dry. Or you could spritz it before styling it into an updo or braiding it, if you find having your hair slightly damp helpful.

Mix a little up with aloe vera gel, and use it as a shine-enhancing leave in, or add some conditioner to this mix and use it as a... shine-enhancing and moisturizing preconditioner/deep treatment! ;)

For non-hair related, you can also put a little on your palms and use it to moisturize your skin. The aloe/jojoba mix is also good on your skin -- it leaves mine very very soft.

Longred I have experience with adding it to conditioner or you can shake up a couple of drops in just plain warm water, shake well before you pour it over your hair and don't get too much on your scalp. Start with a tiny little bit if you mix it with just plain water, I had to go through some greasies before I found the right amount. 3 drops to a gallon worked for me.

You can also do as others explained above and just add a drop or two to your palm, rub your hands together and then smooth it over your length, concentrating on the ends. It soaks right in and keeps your ends nice and soft.

Let us know how you use it and post your results :D

Hi, LongRed! I've had success using the last method Anne mentions: rubbing a couple drops between your palms and smoothing it through your length. I may or may not use my bbb after that to spread it out--depends on my mood.

Enjoy your jojoba. It'll do wonders for you hair. :D

LongRed - I was wondering how you're doing with your Jojoba. How's it working for your hair? Is it making it feel soft or crunchy?

I like to mix a drop in with my leave-in of the day. I also use it as an overnight oil treatment. I use about a teaspoon and spread it thru my length and then braid. S & C as usual in the morning.
