Yesterday I went to a Flying Pickets concert (which was great BTW) and was stunned when I came across a lady with the longest hair I've ever seen in real life!

She was probably in her early thirties and had medium blonde hair down to her ankles. She wore it in an interesting style: held back with two barrettes at the sides of her head, then loose down to about waist level, from there in a braid with a tassel from mid calf to just above her ankles.

I saw her when she picked up her jacket from the cloak room, put it on and then had to grab down her back several times until she had all of her hair pulled out. I tried not to stare but found it really hard ... wow.

I was too shy to compliment her though :rolleyes:

Sounds alot like the lady I saw in Bass Pro Shop. She had ankle length blonde hair secured into a ponytail with one big clip at the nape of her neck. The length just hung loose.

I just gawked. Duh! Should have invited her here! :rolleyes:

I can't believe she put her jacket on over her hair and then pulled it out though! I am sooooo careful to avoid over handling my hair. I lean waaay backwards so my hair is a foot or so off my back, and slide my jacket/ shirt/ robe on, and then stand up straight.

My co-worker is a bit like that - her hair is bleached, higlighted on top of that and still waist length and super gorgeous. It's not really healthy by our standards here (I touch up the roots for her so I get a close look and feel), but it looks perfect.

I'm the same way Valerie. I can't stand anything on top of my hair and it drives me nuts when I see people rough up their hair that way! :? I do what you do and make sure my hair is out of the way of my coat in the first place.
