I'm looking for a good all-over body cream. Here are the ingredients for California Baby lotion and cream. Can someone please look over the ingredients list to see if they appear skin-friendly? I break out and itch fairly easily. Thanks!!!

BOTANICAL MOISTURIZING CREAM
Purified water, aloe vera, vegetable glycerin, canola oil, organic geranium, stearic acid (coconut source), hazelnut oil, cetyl esters (palm nut source), camilla oil, babassu oil, Vit. C, Vit. A, beta carotene, proprietary Calming essential oil blend (that includes French lavender) , broad spectrum Protection Preservative system that includes antibacterial essential oils (that includes tea tree), Vit. A, C & E. and .15% propyl methyl/ paraben (food grade).


CALMING EVERYDAY LOTION
Purified water, Caprylic capric Triglycride, apricot oil, aloe vera, yucca, rosewater, rose hips, cactus, chamomile, acacia, irish moss, Vit. E, proprietary calming essential oil blend that includes French lavender, broad spectrum Protection Preservative system that includes antibacterial essential oils (that includes tea tree), Vit. A, C & E & (food grade) .15% methylparaben.

I don't think anyone can predict what your skin might react to, because you may be sensitive to an ingredient that's perfectly okay for someone else. Maybe you could try out a sample before purchasing? Some stores have tester bottles just for that purpose.

Exactly what Bunniee said. Everyone reacts to different things! In fact, a lot of people react to the essential oils (tea tree and lavender *especially* ) because they have been used so extensively, and often carelessly, in aromatherapy and skin care.

Get a sample, rub it on the sensitive skin on the inside of your arm, cover it, and wait for 24 hours. If there's not the slightest irritation, then it should be ok. Keep in mind though, that you can become sensitized to things. If you tend to be the type that tolerates a product for a while, and then mysteriously begins breaking out, then it would be best for you to rotate your products frequently, between 5 or so brands that you do well with.
