tsenglish@ns.sy November 28th, 2004, 02:19 PM Hello eveyone. I have been lurking amd information-gathering here for some time, and now I am beginning to post (finally). I wanted to be sure of the atmosphere here before I got involved (there are so many negative online environments) . I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. This boartd is a fabulous, nurturing community, you all are such a great resource and support to one another. :flower:

tsenglish@ns.sy November 29th, 2004, 04:23 AM Welcome!
Now you gotta tell us curious bunch what your hair is like - please!
Lol! ok, my hair is quite thick, almost bsl, all one length with slight face framing layers in front beginning about 2 inches from the bottom (they are barely there, just enough to give a bit of lift to the front), no bangs. It is wavy, a mix of 2's, med thickness (ponytail quarter size in diameter). It is very dark brown, almost black with auburn/brown in the sunlight(not dyed) and getting some grays which are a touch wiry, but I refuse to color or chemically process in any way (I like my silver "hilights" :inlove: ). I wash every 2 days and always, always airdry (the only time my hair sees a blowdryer is at the salon, since my hair is wavy, my stylist insists in blowing it straight to be sure it is all even before I leave). That's about it!
Madeleine November 29th, 2004, 09:12 AM Oooh, that sounds lovely!
You might want to put up your hair type in your profile, that makes comparing routines and exchanging tips and ideas easier. Same hair type doesn't necessarily mean that the same stuff works, but it's a hint that it could.

Please treat these as a prescription. The normal dose is one per day, two if you are having a really bad day. These are not just normal cookies. They are super concentrated so that one cookie is about 90% sure to help you get your smile back. If you run out you can find refills in my journal or you can request them.

I was just wondering, do you mind if your stylist blows your hair dry? Or if it's completely even? Not that once in awhile drying will matter but if you don't want it let him/her know. A little uneven hair won't hurt anything if all the splits are gone. If you don't mind it.
I'm glad you found a nice place to belong. I hope you find it as nice as I have.
Good Luck with your progress. It's nice to have you here. :)
