Hello everyone!
I was a member here quite a while ago and just re-registered again today.
I've been looking through a lot of the posts and see some familiar names here, not only from before but from other communities I'm on/was on as well. Most notably, brother Bubba!! (((hugs))) Love ya man! (I worked with PurpleBubba probably 3 or 4 years ago on a Yahoo long hair lover's site.)
So anyway, I'm Lynn. I'm 46 yrs. old. I live in St. Louis, MO with my husband and 17 yr. old daughter. I also have 2 step-children who live with their mother in Saskatchewan, Canada. I've been a work at home office manager for 12 years.
I've almost always had long hair. I decided I wanted to grow my hair as long as I could about 6 or 7 years ago. I didn't measure it then but it was at shoulder blade length.
Now it's about an inch past my waist. Lately I've been getting it trimmed so that the ends are straight across instead of in the deep V shape that it was.
I'm lucky in that one of my best friends is a stylist and not only does she understand my hair, she's taught me a lot about taking care of it. I also worked at a professional beauty supply company for a few years so I've learned a lot about products. I've also been a hair show model.
My natural color was a medium auburn/red-brown, which is now mixed with gray. I've colored it for at least 20 years with various auburn/red-brown shades.
I love all things hair and I'm looking forward to learning more and helping others.
