View Full Version : I finally got a Ficcare Maximas!!!!!

I finally got a Ficcare Maximas clip (large gold matte) and I don't know how I ever managed to get by until now without one!

I kind of like the asymetrical look of putting the clip in on an angle this way into my usual bun. The clip can go in either thru the bun or with the top part of the clip over the bun for different looks.

I'm experimenting with Equestrian's flipped ends looks but I haven't gotten that right yet and I'd only embarras myself by posting the results of today's attempts hehehe. Now I have to get my ends looking as good as Equestrian's!

Isn't it the greatest? I have been trying to play with my toys equally, to gain some experience with them. But when it comes to putting my hair up in a flash, the maximus wins every time. I have the large one in brushed silver, and another Evita Peroni in darker silver - maybe its pewter.

Congrats and enjoy!

Ooooh Martine! You are having a good time with your new hairtoys! :D I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of a large Maximas in Light Brown and a Large Classical clip in Bamboo, myself. Thanks for posting your pic and offering the how-to ideas! :D Looks great!

Gee Martine, I thought for sure you had a maximus
It is the only ficcare I have, my reg one is a fake.
I would like to get another one someday, it is my favorite.
I love the curves.
Your fig 8 looks good. I just can't do them.

Ohhhhh, Martine! That is beautiful. What a gorgeous clip. Your hair, as always, looks absolutely beautiful!

I have not yet been able to accomplish that flippy shortened pony tail with
anything other than one of those wide elastic headband-scruchie things that I use, folded in half and then wrapped around the coiled section of hair, underneath the flippy ends. The wide elastic band not only secures the coils, it also supports the "flip".

Martine your ends and your hair look fantastic, so I don't think you need to worry much about improving anything about your hair. But thanks for saying my ends look good!! :)
