If anybody is interested in those dogtowels when we do the hairscroo group order on the ~19th of Nov? You can see them at progroom.com, they are called the Rinse Ace Microfiber towel (http://www.progroom.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=170_168&products_id=415&osCsid=8b5feb945b70d2b722d44dfdae82b31c), and they work really well. I have more than 5 of them; the boys use them DAILY at swim practice and at meets, because the towels DRY faster and they literally SUCK the water off you. (that sounds so bad, but they really do suck :silly: ) I like them for my hair, too; they help it dry faster. There are two reviews (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=13703) for these particular microfiber towels on the Product Reviews board; we did a group order of this product a coupla months back and it went well and the ladies liked them alot.

Anyhow, just wondering if the towels are something people were wanting again.... if not, that's fine, too.

Ooh.. I have an interest right now... but my wallet is still deciding... But these towels are under 10 USD, right?

The towels are supposed to be white only. I have died some green (that's the school swimteam's color) and they took the dye quite nicely. Last time, we got some that were a pale peachy color that fades to a pale pale yellow with the first wash, but the lady said that they were SUPPOSED to be white, and as far as SHE knew, they were all gonna be white. So, it was a fluke.

The price we pay depends on how many we order. Click on that box where it says $10 each, and there'll be a drop-down menu that tells what the price is when you order more.

Let's see....my normal bath-towels are bigger than these, but only in LENGTH, not in width. They're pretty big, really. They say they're 30" X 48". I think my cotton bathtowels are 30" X 54" or something. Not a whole lot bigger, really. These are light and easy...I really like 'em.

I haven't added up how many towels are mentioned here, so I'm unsure the price we're looking at NOW, but know that as we add more, it'll get lower and lower. To tell you the brutal truth: I am working again tomorrow at our restaurant, then on Thursday we're leaving town til late LATE Saturday (maybe even until Sunday) to watch our boys compete in the State Swim Championships. So, precious little is gonna get done as far as adding these up til the beginning of next week; but I wanted to be straight-up with everyone on that. I am not ignoring you: I'm just travelling! Yay! And cheering! And losing my voice....

We won't order til after the 16th, though, so we've plenty of time to add them up and get the lowest possible price.

Yaaaay! the 19th is the end of THIS WEEK!

i'm still debating over these towels, would they make shipping a ton? i think they sell them at a pet store here for around $20, i cant decide which way would be better

OK, finally back from our vacation (hubs and I took a "honeymoon", an early celebration of our upcoming 20th wedding anniversary, since we never did get a proper honeymoon when we married) and feel GREAT, but am leaving again Friday for another swim meet. Then, off for Thanksgiving, but should be back for the rest of the year after that. I plan to order on Monday the 22nd (hairscroos AND dogtowels.)

Someone asked (brain-fart here) about shipping for them. Last time we did towels and scroos, I just popped the scroos IN the box with the towels, and they rode great taht wqay. Let me look at a sheet that told someone's postage, so I know what was "one towel and some scroos":
okay, here's a lady who had one dogtowel and one pair scroos and I have down that her postage was $3.85. Another lady did TWO towels and we sent it parcel post (little slower) and it was $4.49, but she COULD have had it priority for $5.40 (that priority postage varies depending on how FAR from me you live: it could be as low as $3.95, or as high as $5.75 for "up to two pounds", which two towels were)

I checked out the price for the towels. They sell 25 for $162.50 or 36 for $234. That puts them at 6.50 each either way you go. They don't drop in price again till you reach an order of 40.
