Do you think Robert Craig color is damaging? The website indicates it's not, yet, i'd like opinions from people here. Not to mention How safe do you think this product is, I don't recognize one ingredient in it. Any info is appreciated.

A cosmetologist on MakeUpAlley.com said that when mixed with water, one of the ingredients forms an ammonia-like or peroxide-like (can't remember which one OR which ingredient) compound. This is how the color ends up being "permanent".

I have personally used RC color many times and I find it to work more like a demi-permanant haircolor (level 2). It doesn't lighten and it fades rather quickly... although never completely washing out. I only had good experiences with it, honestly and if I were going to use a box color, it's the only one that I would.
