Hi all,
I have recently joined and thought it is about time to de-lurk (that guilty feeling) and post a short intro...... (still kinda shy I guess)
A little background about me:
As my wife (Diana) has been a cosmetologist for some time (she has been inactive for years due to chemical reactions to her hands), the hair topic is not new in our household. I decided to let mine grow beginning in 2001 and got serious about it in 2002. I am currently at 26" length and plan to continue to at least waist / tailbone length or farther.
I thoroughly enjoy people and we are very active in our community in helping to raise funding for a facility for abandoned / abused / neglected children, who, through no fault of their own, must be placed temporarily. We live in northern California and have 2 Rotties as our "children" (our son is grown, graduated college and has moved out, working on his career).
I have encouraged my wife to log on and check out this wonderful site (she is growing out, too), but as she is on the computer all day at her job she is a bit reluctant to come home and get on the computer.. maybe one day she will check it out!
Although I have not yet spent alot of time here, I have found a wealth of information and some really great people!
