This little lady was cowering under one of the slides at my girls' school playground. Very cold, wet and bedraggled she was. I have 5 cats already, all rescues. Why am I the one who always finds them???

At any rate, she is now warm, clean, fed and being kept away from my other cats until she sees a vet. I already have someone who will take her (thank goodness!!).

OOOOOOOH!
AWWWWW!

I wish I could take her, she's a doll!

THANK YOU THANK YOU for saving her and finding a good home
for her! Two big paws up for people who save the little ones.
(And sometimes the big ones, too!)

You are wonderful! :rockerdud

aww thanks you guys :blushing:

She is such a gentle little thing, her personality is so sweet. If I didn't have 5 cats already I would keep her! But my aunt, who has been in a nursing home because she lost her leg (diabetes) has finally been able to move into an assisted living home, and this place does allow one pet under 30 pounds. My aunt used to do cat rescue and fostering and has wanted a cat now that she can have one, so barring an emergency that's where this cutie will be going.

Ok, I'm not a big cat fan (bird person, myself and I'm highly allergic to cats anyway), but that's just the cutest little thing!! Heehee! :D I especially love that 2nd picture.

Oh what a sweetie! :inlove:

I'm so glad you rescued her. :flowers:

We are in the process of slowly taking in #5.
Poor thing has been hanging around for awhile (I've been feeding it), and hubby has been so-so about another kitty.

Well...
this weekend, the temps dropped and it was very blustery outside. The poor kitty was huddled in our doorway. Hubby saw the kitty and went "ah... we'll have to take the cat to the vet. I can't stand the thought of her (we call kitty a her; we're not sure) outside in the cold". Since our kitties are still adjusting to us moving, we can't bring her in yet. We did take one of the kitty carriers & insulated inside & out with towels, flannel sheets, etc. and placed it on our porch. Kitty took to it right away. Not a dumb one, that's for sure!

So, guess I'll have another kitty real soon. The only one we're really worried about adjusting is Punkin. She is such a clingy Momma's kitty. Not sure how she'll react to yet another kitty disrupting her life.

I can see my obit now: "the CatLady has peacefuuly passed away, surrounded by furry family and friends..."

Oh Snowy, don't I wish!!!! On the new Ficcare group order thread someone posted The preciousss is on its way! and I about spit my drink on the monitor because that's how I feel about losing that Ficcare! That's why I had to let it go because I was getting to the point of crawling around the floor scrabbling in corners hissing "where is my preciousss...."

She is soooo cute.
The poor little thing all cold and wet.

Good for you for helping her out and finding a nice home for her.
I am glad to hear there are people out there that are willing to take care of the lost and needy. That's how we found 4 of our 5 cats.
