Gasp! You have an odd-eyed cat! How lucky! She is very beautiful, and her name definitely fits! Is she deaf? I know white blue eyed cats often are, but I'm not sure about odd eyed cats.

(I love odd eyed cats just as much as I love polydactyl cats. They're so special! :))

Spook doesn't have buddies. LOL... No, I like Spook and Prissy too. It's just that Lorelei was so cuddly! :inlove:

What a pretty, pretty kitty! My MIL has a stone deaf blue eyed kitty like that, but your kitty looks a lot nicer than MILs!

Hehe! Aww she is very pretty. And even though that face is so so serious I can detect some cheekyness in it!!

Oh my. That must be the most regal cat I've ever seen. I love all white cats, and odd eyed ... just wow.

Lorelei asked me to thank y'all for the nice compliments  .

She is a sweetheart of a cat, though kind of shy at first; she doesn't get so cuddly with just anyone, Kari  . When she's really happy, she kneads with all four feet. She likes to slide things off the coffee table. She snores like an old man.

Lorelei is not deaf, thankfully. Many blue-eyed white cats are totally deaf; some odd-eyed cats are deaf only in the ear on the same side as the blue eye. When I was a child, I had another odd-eyed white cat--an ENORMOUS longhaired male named McQuinn, who wasn't deaf, either.

I never planned to have a black & a white cat; it just happened that way. She was a stray hanging around a friend's house and I was so enchanted with her looks that I named her Lorelei. Her voice does not resemble that of a siren whatsoever :silly: .

OK, I've rambled on way too long about my cat...

I'm really more of a dog person but I have to say that Lorelei is gorgeous :rockerdud Pretty pure white with a touch of character. I hope you two are friends for a very long time :smooch:
