Yea!!!!

Earlier this week, Amber took several steps by herself. She wasn't lunging for a piece of furniture or anything. She just let go of the couch and walked into the middle of the room. ::jumps for joy:: now she takes about 5 steps by herself before falling on her rump, or quite a few if holding onto someone's finger (small hands.) She jabbers all the time, and is also stringing words together to make coherent phrases and demands. :) Apparently this is slightly ahead of her age bracket. whohoo! After all the premature problems, it is really nice not to be so far below the curve that we're not on the map. :rockerdud:

that is so great, Euphrasne (and Amber :rockerdud ) ! I've always figured that just watching your kids "come into their own" must be one of the most amazing things about being a parent. So glad you've not having to worry about developmental issues.... :flowers:

Way to go little Amber! I think it's just too cute when they are learning to walk and I'm so glad there have been no developmental issues for her.

Now Cheryl . . . you know this opens up a whole new world with the walking and the talking thing. Soon she'll be able to run from you and tell you NO at the same time.

You spend months waiting for them to walk....and the rest of your life trying to catch them.
