Does anyone know of a good source for a wooden hairbrush with straight-tipped wooden bristles? I use a lovely wooden brush I found at a department store in Berlin about six years ago and the bristles are starting to break. It's the only brush that has really worked in my thick, wavy, tangle-prone hair and I really need another!
Thanks for your help!

I forgot to mention... going back to Berlin is not an option... so I'm looking for on-line options.

LOL, you don't need to go to Berlin, anywhere in Germany would be fine ;)
If you can't find one online, let me know more specifically what you'd like (size etc.) and I'll have a look for you locally and send you one. I've seen a lot of those around here, with both straight and ball tips.

Thanks for the offer, Madeleine! I had found one site that had them, but that was a long while back. If you happen to see one, let me know how much it would cost (with shipping.) The main one I'm looking for is the larger oval one, although I would love to get a purse-sized brush with straight tips as well! Thanks for checking... I'm in no rush.

I don't know if The Body SHop is on-line or not but I got a brush like you described at one of their stores here in the US. It has straight wood bristles. It was inexpensive as far as brushes go, about $10 if I can remember. I really like my brush. I don't like the brushes with ball tipped ends so I look for straight bristles.

I would suggest trying Rite Aid because I remember seeing a straight wood bristle brush there and your local health food store. The health food store may have wood bristle brushes in the hair care section. HTH
