i'm 22, canadian. i dislike uppercase letters.
i've been growing my hair for just over three years now... when my significant other and i got together he told me he liked long hair, which was just the boost i needed to get me growing. :smile:
i'd wanted long hair for most of my life. it seems i inherited my mother's slow-grow style, which made it that much more an obstacle. i ended up (luckily!) finding the lhc board a couple years ago and it really got me started. unfortunately i didn't have the means to access the net from home so i couldn't keep up.
i'm glad i finally made it here. i'm sure i'll be inspired by everyone.

a few last notes: as the name implies, i'm interested largely in using herbal/organic/natural products and supplements wherever possible. aw, heck, what's one more challenge?

Welcome natural one. There are quite a few people here using natural alternatives to hair care, I'm sure you can pick up quite a few tips from them.

Hi there! I've recently decided to only use natural products, and it's made such a tremendous difference for me (my skin is very sensitive). There are a few here who experiment with herbs, clay, or simply 100% natural products. You'll find lots of great advice here! Welcome! :)

Welcome to the boards! :flower: I often use herbs to cleanse my hair and I actually like them better than anything else I use. They do take up a bit more time but I dont mind if my hair benifits from it. There are quite a few others that are more experienced with herbs than me. They are the ones that got me addicted to them! Cowgal, Jennifer, Flaxen and nitsa are a just a few who use herbs.
