About a week and a half ago some newsmen from Channel 9 news came by my TA office at school to ask some questions about internet plagiarism. I was the only one there (even grad students don't like to stay at school on a Friday afternoon!) so they interviewed me for about 10 minutes about students who plagiarize papers off the internet. (I've really had only one student who did so that I know of). My part got cut down to one sentence in the actual news story, but at least I didn't sound like an idiot!
Funny, though, I didn't even recognize my voice or face when I first heard/saw them! :D

Congratulations! I can't imagine how weird it would be to see myself on tv. Glad to hear your bit wasn't cut or altered.

hey, sneakybea, I wonder if we live in the same state because there was just a story on my channel nine news about internet plagiarism! that would be some crazy coincidence if you dont :D i'm from MN.

wow, i thought i was the only one from Minnesota! My boyfriend's sister goes to the U of M and I go to a local community college. Winter...ha, its kinda funny actually. One day its freezing and you don't think you'll survive walking to your car and the next day it feels like its April or something :D
