Hi, I've been reading some of the posts and articles on this site for a couple of weeks, and I have to say that they've been amazing. I love to see all the cool photos that you guys put up.

I'm a grad student (creative writing and journalism) I'm originally from California, but I'm going to college here in Arkansas cuz it's a lot cheaper! I like fantasy novels and movies (as you can probably see from my avatar. HA!) I would have hair just like Eowyn from the movie if I could just get it long enough. I'm writing a Harry Potter fan fiction novel on Fanfiction.net under "LadyJenilyn," if you like that sort of thing. You can find it at:

I've always wanted to have really long hair, but I grew up in a very poor family- my parents grew up during the depression, and taking care of your hair was always considered a ridiculous luxury. I didn't know how to take care of my hair, so I did silly things to mess it up and had to whack it off a lot. I had to cut a lot of my hair off a few years ago because I fried it with a Loreal bleaching kit. Anyway, so I decided to surf the net and find out more about hair care. So here I am! :waving:
