When I was 7 (or mabey 8) I had Three cute little kittens named Harry, Hedwig, and Weasly. They were wild, but we trained them so they were very tame. To make a very, very, very long story short, About a year later my mom got bad allergeys and I had Asthma. So, we gave them to my aunt ( my mom's sister). At first she was nice to them and all. Then Me and My sister asked if we could let them out ( they were in a pen to get used to their new home). So she said sure, and we let them them out. At the time my aunt had two dogs. So of coarse, they started meowing and spitting. So then, my aunt decided to hose the kitteys off, so they wouldn't hurt "her angels" (the dogs). She started spraying them with the hose on full blast, and I started crying and telling her to stop it. So then, of all the nerve, she said, "Oh, you said they like water!" (Wealsy liked swimming in the toilet.) Of coase, finally She drove them out of the yard, and I've never seen them since. My aunt made me SO MAD, I still havn
t forgiven her and it's been a very, very long time.:hatchet: I miss my kitteys so much, sometimes I still cry a little. I just wish I knew where they were, and if they're okay. :boohoo: Well, I guess that's all for now.

On another note...the cat liked swimming in the toilet? Hehe..

It was funny, He would jump in and just swim around, having a great time! Later on I would wash him, but he didn't like the smell of the shampoo or something. He would just sorta sit there looking all sad, it was kindda funny... :cloud9:

Oh RainDrop, I'm so sorry that happened to both you and the kitties. I sure hope they found a good home somewhere else, and I totally understand that it's hard for you to still love your aunt. I know I could never forgive her. :no Someone ought to spray her with a hose on full blast. :boxer:

Aw, RainDrop, that's sad for you. I'm sorry :( But I have a feeling that three cats with such magical names probably found a good home somewhere. :karma: (I assume your cats were all boys, or certainly the name Hermione would have been appropriate, too!)

I can definitely understand why you're mad at your aunt, but she was probably trying to make the right decision to mediate between her old pets and her new ones. We all make bad decisions, and this one was a doosey! Maybe she just underestimated the power of the hose and the size of the cats.

I've found my "Bad Cat" (okay, his name is really Dylan, but we usually call him Bad Cat) pawing around in the toilet a few times, until I finally trained my fiance to close the toilet. I suspect he might have tried to jump in, but he never would have fit! (I mean the cat, but I don't think my fiance would fit, either) :misskim:

Awww, so sad to read about your kitties. I bet they have a wonderful new home now, though. :)

I too am sure the kitties found a new home where they were more welcome. I hope someday things can be made right between your aunt and you. I'd be very upset about that too. That is funny about the kitty playing in the toilet. I just saw this thing at a pet store to 'potty train' your kitties...haha...I wonder if it would work? Then again I'd feel funny walking in and having to wait for my kitty to finish going first.

Hedwig is a girl owl!! (and she's gorgeous--I want one!)

I'll be darned! Hedwig is a girl?! Somehow I never processed that.

I'm pretty sure she is...and I think Hedwig is a girl's name anyway.

Sometimes... the things I read on this board just crack me up. http://home.comcast.net/~hopefulpessimist/laughing-smiley-001.gif

BTW, I fully agree with you, Rinje. *nodding solemnly*
